Remove hidden data in JPG Files
![]()
When you take a picture with your digital camera, there is a lot more information than just the picture stored in the file. Depending on what camera you use it may also include the following information
Find out more about the extra info stored in JPG files here link
Before sharing any of your pictures with friends or posting them on the Internet I would always recommend removing this hidden information. I have now come across a great little program that can clear this information out.
The software is called JPGextra and is written by Ian Fieggen. Its very easy to use, you simply select the file or files that you want to work on and click on Start and it normally only takes a few seconds to process.

There are two versions. A fully working Trial Version which is free and fully working, and a version with extra features, but you pay what you consider to be a fair price.

Sprite Backup £

If you are using a Windows Mobile device I would say this is an essential application that you need.
In the past I have to admit, I have been in a situation where I have let the battery on my windows mobile device run out, and then had to reinstall everything again. Through this I found a great little program called Sprite Backup.
It allows you to take a full backup of your windows mobile device, and store the backup as an executable file on your mobile device storage card. This means, that if for any reason your Windows Mobile device is wiped, you can get it back by running the backup you made using Sprite Backup.

Here is the blurb from the site
“PDAdb.net The World’s largest, most comprehensive and most accurate online PDA Database. Mobile Broadband USB Dongle
I have been reading the recent review in the current copy of PC Pro Magazine (UK) for USB Mobile broadband. So following on from this I have now managed to get my hands on a USB broadband dongle for the 3 network.
It looks to be quite good so far. After I have carried out some more testing I will report back on what its like.
If anyone is looking at getting one of these devices on a contract I would recommend going via one of the cashback websites to help with the costs. These will help reduce the overall cost of the device and rental. I would recommend using www.quidco.com as a starting point for this.
